The (USA) Journeyman Electrician, Facility Services, is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs to ensure the safety and functionality of facilities and equipment. This role requires diagnosing electrical issues, executing repairs, and managing maintenance documentation while adhering to regulatory standards. The position involves coordinating with contractors, responding promptly to emergencies, and supporting facility operations through effective communication and teamwork. This team delivers expert electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair services to support facility operations. Members follow safety standards and industry best practices while maintaining clear communication with clients and contractors. Key duties include preventive maintenance, equipment repair, contractor coordination, and regulatory compliance. By applying technical expertise and effective teamwork, the group consistently achieves operational excellence, contributing to a safe, reliable, and efficient facility environment. What you'll do: Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures to ensure safety and functionality. Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot electrical issues using blueprints, manuals, and specialized tools. Document maintenance activities, repair work, and equipment conditions accurately. Manage work orders, maintenance schedules, and coordinate with contractors to meet quality and safety standards. Respond promptly to emergency calls and support issue resolution during on-call rotations. Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and company safety policies while maintaining a safe work environment. Operate and maintain vehicles and powered equipment following safety procedures. What you'll bring: Proven experience performing preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical systems and facility equipment. Ability to diagnose issues using blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs. Skilled in operating hand and power tools, hoists, and material handling equipment safely and effectively. Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations to ensure compliance and maintain a safe work environment. Strong documentation skills for maintenance activities, work orders, and expense tracking. Capability to manage contractors and coordinate maintenance schedules efficiently. Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and respond promptly to emergency situations.
