Job Description
Municipal Maintenance Company is a Mechanical and Electrical contractor seeking to fill an industrial electrician position. MMC has been operating for over 70 years and is one of the region's leaders in the maintenance, repair and installation of water and sewer equipment. Industrial Electrician:
Install, repair and maintain electrical systems in water and wastewater treatment plants and pumping stations.Position requires the following:
- Minimum 5 years experience.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment.
- Must be able to install electrical systems in a hazardous locations.
- Must be able to install rigid and ocal conduit.
- Work with generators and transfer switches.
- Work with motors, motor control centers, VFDs and controls.
- Be able to work on 3 phase systems from 208 to 480 volts.
- Must have knowledge of electrical installations in hazardous locations.
- Be able to read and understand electrical plans.
- Must have their own hand tools
- Must be able to work with little to no supervision.
- Able to layout and order material for jobs.
- Pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
- Pre-employment physical.
- Must have current NJ drivers license.
- Must be able to work emergency call out when needed. 401K Profit sharing Health and dental plan Vacation, sick, and personal time off Salary is based off of experience ranging from $100,000
