VJLEV HVAC SOLUTIONS INC
is looking for an experienced HVAC professional who can prepare accurate estimates and help bring new construction projects to our company in the Los Angeles area. The ideal candidate must understand HVAC systems, equipment, materials, and installation methods, with strong estimating skills and the ability to build relationships with general contractors, developers, and customers.
Responsibilities:
Read mechanical plans, specifications, and project documents. Prepare accurate material takeoffs and calculate equipment, material, and labor costs. Obtain supplier quotes and prepare detailed estimates and proposals. Review project requirements carefully to avoid missing scope or pricing errors. Contact companies that build new construction and multifamily projects to identify bidding opportunities. Build relationships with general contractors, developers, and potential customers. Follow up on proposals, discuss project needs, and help secure contracts. Attend customer meetings and visit jobsites when needed.
Qualifications:
Previous HVAC estimating experience, preferably in multifamily and new construction. Strong knowledge of HVAC equipment, materials, and installation requirements. Ability to prepare accurate calculations and organized cost breakdowns. Strong communication, customer service, and business development skills. Ability to work independently and attend meetings and site visits in the Los Angeles area.
Compensation:
$40-50$ per hour, depending on experience. Additional commission for each contract you help secure for the company. The percentage and payment terms will be agreed upon in advance.
