This position requires a person who is ready to learn, and computer savvy, as we use a variety of estimating software and pricing programs. The estimator will work with our salespeople and engineering team to ensure an accurate and competitive bid is produced on time. The estimator should feel comfortable asking questions from colleagues and manufacturers, as well as occasionally conversing with customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your construction industry knowledge and estimating skills in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. Duties Perform accurate and thorough take-offs (counts), review specs, details, and drawings Use AI software, product pricing software, price lists, or direct contact with manufacturers to source pricing Write up professional quotes using Salesforce Communicate with sales and engineering departments to resolve issues prior to bid deadlines Requirements Willing to provide ground up training for a motivated candidate with limited experience, or provide generous compensation for an experienced estimator. Prefer minimum 2 years' experience in HVAC / Sheet Metal estimating We value proactive professionals who thrive in a collaborative environment dedicated to excellence in commercial construction estimation.
