Construction Estimator 3 Daughters Construction is a family-oriented construction company serving the Lehigh Valley and surrounding areas. We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Construction Estimator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of residential construction, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to develop accurate, competitive estimates while supporting the overall project planning process. Responsibilities Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for residential construction, remodeling, additions, decks, and new home construction projects. Review architectural drawings, blueprints, specifications, and project plans to determine labor, material, and equipment requirements. Perform material takeoffs and calculate quantities, labor costs, and associated project expenses. Obtain and review pricing from subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors. Develop project budgets and assist with cost analysis to ensure projects remain profitable and competitive. Communicate with project managers, owners, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather information and clarify project requirements. Prepare and organize proposals, estimates, and supporting documentation. Assist with project handoffs to ensure a smooth transition from estimating to construction. Qualifications 4+ Years of previous experience in construction estimating, residential construction, or a related field . Strong understanding of residential construction methods, materials, and building practices. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, and construction specifications. Knowledge of material takeoffs, labor calculations, and construction pricing. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM estimating software preferred. Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. $24.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 - 30.0 per week
