Commercial Landscape Estimator Rainier Site Services | Buda, TX (Mostly Remote) Rainier Site Services is a commercial landscape and irrigation contractor in Central Texas. We're looking for an experienced estimator who wants to own the full bid process and get paid for the work they win. This is a high-volume role with real upside — strong estimating skills plus consistent follow-up with general contractors directly drive results. The Role You'll price commercial landscape and irrigation projects and manage the bid from first call to final decision. A big part of the job is relationship-driven: talking with GCs, tracking multiple bidders on the same project, and staying in contact after the bid is submitted. The role is primarily remote, with occasional site visits and in-person company meetings. What You'll Do Own estimates from takeoff through final submission Develop accurate material, labor, and equipment pricing Call GCs to clarify scope, confirm timelines, and build relationships Track competing bidders and follow up on outstanding bids Keep estimating data and historical costs current Hand projects off cleanly to operations What We're Looking For 3-5+ years of commercial landscape and/or irrigation estimating experience Comfortable on the phone and effective at building relationships with GCs Able to manage a high volume of active bids without losing track Proficient with takeoff and estimating tools (Bluebeam, PlanSwift, LMN, or similar) Solid grasp of landscape construction, irrigation systems, and costs Organized and detail-oriented Texas Irrigator's License is a plus Compensation & Benefits Expected total compensation: $100,000 - $130,000 ($75,000 base + 1% of awarded contract value on jobs you estimate) Health insurance stipend Paid time off Mostly remote with occasional site visits and company meetings To Apply Send your resume and a short note on your estimating experience and how you handle bid follow-up .
