Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Erosion Control Estimator to join our growing civil construction and environmental services team. In this role, you will analyze civil blueprints, site plans, and environmental regulations to deliver precise cost estimates for stormwater management, soil stabilization, and sediment control systems. Your work will directly impact our bidding success and ensure compliance on complex infrastructure, commercial, and grading projects. Key Responsibilities Perform detailed takeoffs using software (e.g., Bluebeam, AGTEK) to quantify materials, labor, and equipment. Review engineering plans and project specifications to identify site-specific erosion control needs. Solicit and evaluate vendor quotes for specialized materials like geotextiles, hydroseeding, silt fencing, and riprap. Conduct site visits to assess topography, soil conditions, and potential environmental risks. Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal stormwater management (SWPPP) regulations. Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to finalize competitive bids and proposals.
Qualifications & Skills Education:
High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Environmental Science is preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 2-4 years of experience estimating in civil construction, earthwork, or environmental remediation.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in digital takeoff and estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, HeavyBid, PlanSwift).
Industry Knowledge:
Strong understanding of soil mechanics, grading, drainage systems, and Best Management Practices (BMPs).
Certifications:
CPESC (Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control) or CESSWI credentials are a major plus.

$55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
