Job Description
Job Summary This role is a 1099 independent installation role. You are required to have your own tools, vehicle and insurance. We have volumes of work. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Wall Tile Installer with their own business license to join our installation team as an independent contractor. In this role, you will be responsible for installing wall tiles in residential bathrooms, ensuring precise craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will contribute to transforming spaces with quality tile work that meets client expectations and industry standards. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary adhesives or primers for optimal tile adhesion using mastic. Install wall tiles using hand tools such as trowels, spacers, levels, and cutting tools to ensure accurate placement and alignment. Utilize power tools safely for cutting tiles, mixing materials, and other installation tasks while maintaining compliance with safety protocols. Apply caulking, grout, and sealants to finish joints and ensure waterproofing and durability of the tile installation. Meet committed timelines. Qualifications Proven experience in tile laying or flooring installation. Skilled in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for cutting, shaping, and installing tiles. Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings and construction plans to execute precise installations. Experience with waterproofing. caulking, fixture installationis highly desirable. Ability to handle manual tasks such as manual handling of heavy materials while maintaining safety standards on-site. Knowledge of construction site safety compliance regulations to ensure a safe working environment at all times.
