Job Overview We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Installer Trainees to join our dynamic team specializing in glass and gutter installation. This entry-level role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop hands-on skills in gutter installation as well as glass installation. As an Installer Trainee, you will learn to assist with the installation of glass panels and gutters while adhering to safety protocols and technical specifications. This paid position is ideal for individuals eager to gain practical construction experience and grow within the industry. Duties Assist experienced gutter installers with measuring, cutting and fitting gutters according to project plans and schematics Assist experienced shower door/glass installers in the installation of shower doors, glass panels and mirrors Learn to operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively on outdoor and indoor job sites Support the setup of ladders in compliance with construction safety regulations Aid in the preparation of surfaces by cleaning, caulking, or applying weatherproofing materials as needed for installation projects Assist with heavy lifting tasks and material handling while maintaining a focus on safety and efficiency Qualifications Enthusiastic attitude with a strong willingness to learn new skills in construction Basic understanding of construction workplace safety regulations Prior construction experience is a plus Comfortable working at heights using ladders; experience with fall protection equipment is advantageous Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions Strong attention to detail with good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset Join us to kick-start your career in construction!
