Earn more responsibility. Grow toward running your own crew. EcoSave is growing its insulation and weatherization team and hiring an experienced second installer to work alongside our Crew Chief. This is a hands-on role for someone who can contribute on the job now and wants to keep developing. You will help improve the comfort and efficiency of local homes while learning what it takes to lead a Mass Save crew. A path toward Crew Chief as you gain the required experience and qualifications and we add crews. The upper end of the range is for an installer who can complete assigned insulation and air-sealing work independently, operate equipment safely and help keep the job organized under the chief's direction. Your work Help prepare the truck, materials and work area for the day's scope. Install blown-in cellulose, fiberglass batts and rigid foam where specified; assist with dense-pack insulation and ventilation work. Air seal attics, basements and other areas under the crew chief's direction. Measure and cut materials, operate hand and power tools, and handle blowing-machine setup and cleanup as trained. Protect customers' belongings, keep the site clean and flag unexpected conditions promptly. Help record job photos and completed work, and assist with testing as trained. Your path to Crew Chief First, demonstrate safe, consistent installation and reliable preparation and closeout. Next, develop scope-reading, material planning, testing, documentation and homeowner communication skills with your chief. As you meet the qualifications and leadership standards, you can be considered for a crew-chief opening as the team grows. Advancement is based on readiness and available roles. What you bring Hands-on insulation or weatherization experience preferred. Strong residential construction or carpentry experience is also welcome. Ability to use common tools, take measurements and follow a work scope. Dependability, respect for customers' homes, and willingness to learn and accept feedback. Reliable transportation to our facility each morning. A valid driver's license is preferred for future driving and leadership responsibilities. Ability to perform the essential field duties, including lifting materials, using ladders, and working in attics and crawl spaces, with reasonable accommodation where applicable. Mass Save experience, OSHA 10 and lead-safe training are useful advantages. Crew Chief certification is not required for this installer position. Full-time, in person.
