Temp-to-Hire Pay Range:

$20-$25/hr Kodiak Labor Solutions is hiring a Pipefitter Helper for commercial mechanical construction work in Richmond, VA. This is a great opportunity for someone with construction, mechanical, plumbing, or pipefitting experience who wants to build their skills and grow in the skilled trades. You'll work alongside experienced pipefitters while helping install commercial piping systems on active construction projects. You don't need to be a journeyman pipefitter—we're looking for someone who is dependable, safety-minded, mechanically inclined, and ready to work. For You Full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity Hands-on commercial construction experience Opportunity to learn from experienced pipefitters and mechanics Build skills in pipe layout, installation, cutting, threading, and mechanical piping Opportunity to grow into a Pipefitter / Mechanic role Potential for long-term employment based on performance and project needs What You Will Do Assist pipefitters with the installation of commercial piping systems Measure, cut, prep, and handle pipe and fittings Help assemble and install pipe, valves, fittings, hangers, and supports Assist with pipe threading, grooving, and other pipe preparation Use basic hand and power tools safely Help move, stage, and organize piping materials and equipment Assist with piping layout and installation from blueprints and field measurements Support pressure testing and leak checks Maintain a clean and organized work area Work safely around other construction trades and equipment Follow all company, OSHA, and jobsite safety requirements Learn piping installation methods and techniques from experienced mechanics What We Are Seeking Previous construction or skilled trades experience preferred Pipefitting, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, or industrial experience is a plus Basic knowledge of hand and power tools Ability to take measurements and perform basic construction math Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Ability to follow instructions and work effectively with experienced mechanics Ability to perform physical construction work throughout the workday Dependable attendance and reliable work habits Strong commitment to safety, quality, productivity, and teamwork Why Join Us?
