Repair and replace damaged, leaking, corroded, or deteriorated piping.
Install and maintain shutoff valves, pressure-reducing valves, check valves, backflow devices, and related components.

Perform line repairs, replacements, and modifications as required.
Inspect piping systems for leaks, corrosion, deterioration, and potential failures.
Assist with pumps, lift stations, sump systems, and related equipment where applicable.
Monitor water pressure, flow, and system performance.
Respond to water or sewer emergencies and minimize service interruptions.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of professional plumbing experience preferred.

Experience with pipe fitting, pipe installation, repair, and maintenance.
Ability to read and understand plumbing plans, diagrams, and specifications.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field.
Ability to safely operate common plumbing tools and equipment.
Experience with pumps, water systems, lift stations, or similar equipment is highly desirable.
Work Environment:
This is a hands-on maintenance position serving a private island community. The employee will work throughout Useppa Island and may interact with residents, property owners, guests, vendors, and contractors.
The position requires a high degree of reliability and professionalism because plumbing and water/sewer systems are essential to the operation of the island.
