Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master Plumber to lead and execute complex plumbing projects across residential and commercial sites. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your extensive plumbing expertise, mechanical knowledge, and leadership skills to ensure top-quality work that complies with all local building codes and construction regulations. As a Master Plumber, you will oversee plumbing system installation, maintenance, and repair, while managing teams of plumbers and field service technicians. Your dedication to craftsmanship and safety will help deliver reliable plumbing solutions that meet client expectations and industry standards. Duties Lead the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings, ensuring adherence to all building codes and safety standards. Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing projects. Manage plumbing teams by supervising daily operations, assigning tasks, providing training, and ensuring team members follow safety protocols. Conduct construction estimating for plumbing projects by assessing site conditions, materials needed, labor costs, and project timelines. Perform building code analysis to ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes, regulations, and construction permits. Utilize hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding tools, and heavy lifting techniques to complete installations or repairs efficiently. Oversee construction site experience including remodeling projects, new builds, or renovations while coordinating with other trades such as carpentry or HVAC specialists. Maintain excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding project progress or troubleshooting issues during field service calls. Ensure construction regulatory compliance through diligent inspection of domestic water systems, commercial plumbing setups, and heavy-duty piping systems. Analyze construction plans for proper assembly of plumbing systems; interpret technical schematics; perform pipe threading; and execute system maintenance or repairs as needed. Skills Extensive knowledge of plumbing building codes and local regulations governing residential and commercial plumbing systems. Proven experience in construction estimating with a focus on plumbing projects; ability to manage budgets and timelines effectively. Strong mechanical aptitude combined with skills in welding, pipe threading, schematics interpretation, and blueprint reading. Skilled in managing plumbing teams; capable of supervising multiple workers while maintaining high safety standards. Proficient in construction site experience including remodeling projects; familiar with construction plans and technical drawings. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients or team members. Competence in using hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting techniques, HVAC knowledge related to plumbing systems, and basic math for measurements and calculations. Ability to analyze building codes for compliance; perform system troubleshooting; maintain plumbing systems; and execute repairs efficiently. Valid commercial driving license preferred for field service travel; handyman experience or general construction background is a plus. $55.00 - $60.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
