Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Roofing and Siding Repair Technician to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and installing roofing systems and siding on residential and commercial properties. Your expertise will help ensure structures are weatherproof, safe, and visually appealing. Responsibilities Perform roofing repairs including single-ply membrane roofing, metal roofing, and general asphalt shingle work, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Install siding materials such as vinyl, fiber cement, stucco, and metal siding according to project specifications and blueprints. Use hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, ladders, and safety harnesses to access work sites safely and efficiently. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, construction plans, and blueprints to accurately execute installation or repair tasks. Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment while following proper lifting techniques to prevent injury. Follow construction safety regulations including proper ladder use, fall protection measures, and workplace safety standards. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining high quality standards; assist with framing, drywall installation, caulking, tile laying, masonry work or other related tasks as needed. Skills Extensive construction experience with a focus on roofing repair and siding installation. Knowledge of various roofing systems including single-ply membranes and metal roofing options. Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans. Skilled in the use of hand tools such as hammers, saws, drills; power tools including nail guns and grinders; heavy equipment handling when necessary. Strong understanding of construction safety harnesses, ladder use protocols, and OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) regulations for workplace safety. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical stamina for outdoor work environments. Experience with fabrication techniques related to metal stud framing or masonry is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to read schematics or technical diagrams accurately.
