This energetic position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing your expertise in roofing techniques and construction skills. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality workmanship, safety compliance, and efficient project execution, all while contributing to the protection and longevity of our clients' properties. Responsibilities Perform roofing installation, repair, and maintenance on commercial structures using various materials such as membrane, metal, and built-up roofing systems. Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery safely and efficiently to complete roofing tasks. Conduct site assessments to determine project scope, materials needed, and safety considerations. Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. Assist with construction estimating by assessing materials and labor requirements for upcoming projects. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and properly handling hazardous materials like caulking and roofing adhesives. Skills Strong knowledge of construction, and roofing techniques. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques. Experience working on construction sites with a focus on roofing projects; familiarity with scaffolding and framing is a plus. Skilled in various trades including carpentry (trim carpentry, frame carpentry), masonry (stucco), plumbing, metal stud framing, restoration work, tile laying, concrete forming, fabrication, welding, masonry work, remodeling, and maintenance person tasks. Ability to read technical drawings such as schematics for roofing systems or building frameworks. Knowledge of safety procedures related to construction sites and roofing environments. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to project changes or unforeseen challenges.
