Weatherization Service Technician

Job Description

Job Summary Join our team as a Weatherization Service Technician and become a vital part of improving energy efficiency and comfort in Southern Oregon. In this energetic role, you will perform hands-on installation, maintenance, and repair of insulation and weatherization measures. Your expertise will help reduce energy costs, improve indoor air quality, and promote sustainable living. Duties Install various types of insulation materials in residential buildings, including attics, crawl spaces, and walls Use hand tools safely and efficiently to complete weatherization projects Climb ladders and scaffolding safely to access hard-to-reach areas on roofs, walls, or ceilings during installation tasks Communicate effectively with clients to explain work processes, answer questions, and ensure customer satisfaction during project completion Requirements
MUST HAVE
a valid
DRIVER'S LICENSE
Skilled in the use of hand tools such as foam guns, saws, drills, levels, and measuring devices Familiarity with equipment used in insulation installation Comfortable climbing ladders or working at heights safely for extended periods Strong understanding of safety protocols related to construction sites and tool operation Basic math skills for measurements and estimating material quantities accurately Experience with HVAC systems is a plus but not required Join us in making a difference by enhancing energy efficiency through skilled craftsmanship! This job is sometimes "down-n-dirty", from gray water and rodent carcasses to blazing hot attic spaces.
Pay:
$15.55 - $25.00 per hour
