POSTING NOTICE
Job Title:
Dispatcher Classification:
Full-time and Part-time (weekends)
Shift:
Operation runs 24 hours a day. Hours will be a combination of days, evenings, nights, overnights and weekends. Must be flexible on hours & days
Salary:
$16.00 hour, non-exempt Deadline to apply: until filled
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • First point of contact with bus operators during emergencies
  • Monitor/track/respond to radio communications with bus operators
  • Assign vehicles to specific routes, based on route demands and vehicle availability
  • Distribute manifests to drivers
  • Receive/record requests from Origin to Destination customers for scheduled pick-ups
REQUIREMENTS
  • Able to multi-task
  • Clear speaking voice, calm demeanor, attention to detail
  • Able to use Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Familiarity with transportation emergency response protocol, proficiency with radio communication codes preferred
  • Customer service focus
  • Valid driver license
