Job Summary:

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Night Dispatcher - Entry Level professional to join our logistics team. In this role, you will coordinate freight movements, communicate with drivers and clients, and ensure smooth overnight operations. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop foundational skills in transportation management systems and logistics while supporting our commitment to on-time deliveries.

Essential Functions:

Support the operations department Update operations team on changes and updates Plan drivers on daily loads and trailers Update and maintain computer Manage driver scheduling (example: home time, shop maintenance, DOT testing) and load dispatching All other tasks as assigned

Job Requirements:

High school diploma or GED diploma, at least two years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. McLeod experience, preferred. Maintain highest level of confidentiality Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Must be thorough and have great organization skills Ability to work under pressure Ability to handle multi-functions Knowledge of bookkeeping and office functions Ability to work proficiently and efficiently in a timely manner Highly detail oriented

Work Environment:

Dispatcher (Night Shift) duties operate in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, scanners, phones, copiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Physical Demands:

Dispatcher (Night Shift) duties require the ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time. It may also require walking primarily on a level surface for certain periods of time, as well as, reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required to file documents.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time Saturday through Tuesday night position. Days and typical hours of work are determined by your supervisor. Overtime may be necessary. This schedule may change as needed.

Required Education:

High school diploma or GED diploma, at least two years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
