Play a key role in keeping products moving and customers satisfied. What You'll Be Doing. As a Forklift Operator, you'll help keep warehouse operations running efficiently and safely. Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment. Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments. Transport materials to designated storage, staging, and shipping locations. Verify shipment quantities, product condition, and order accuracy. Pick, pack, label, wrap, and prepare orders for customer shipment. Support inventory management through stock rotation and cycle counts. Stack and store materials according to company and customer requirements. Complete required logs, reports, and documentation accurately. Perform basic equipment maintenance and inspections. Assist with pallet repair, light assembly, and general warehouse support as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment. Collaborate with transportation, customer service, maintenance, and warehouse teams to meet daily goals. What We're Looking For. Experience with shipping, receiving, and material handling operations. Strong order picking, packing, and staging experience. Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems. Experience with customer-specific shipping and labeling requirements. Ability to perform pallet repair, light assembly, or general warehouse maintenance tasks. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Avon, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $23.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
