We offer a range of services, including pet sitting, dog walking, and overnight care. Our team is passionate about animals and committed to ensuring the well-being of pets while their owners are away. We are seeking an Assistant Manager to join our team and help us provide top-notch pet sitting services to our clients. The Assistant Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction. This is a primarily a Remote/Telecommute position however candidates must be locale to Raleigh, NC and available to do pet sitting as backup as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
1.
Client and Employee Scheduling:
Manage the scheduling of pet sitting appointments for clients.
Coordinate with our team of pet sitters to ensure timely service delivery.
Handle client requests and inquiries related to scheduling.
2.
Maintain Physical Key Inventory and Audits:
Maintain an organized inventory of physical keys and lockboxes for client homes.
Conduct regular audits to ensure the security of keys and access information. 3. Coordinate training & employee evaluations
Assign new employee training visits in accordance with training guidelines
Assign visit evaluations in accordance with evaluation guidelines
Perform visit report audits in accordance with audit guidelines 4.
Assist in the
Hiring Process:
Review resumes and applications from potential pet sitters.
Collaborate with the hiring team to identify suitable candidates.
5.
New Hire Onboarding:
Assist in onboarding new hires by providing training and guidance on company policies and procedures.
Ensure new pet sitters are well-prepared to deliver excellent service.
6. Act as Backup Pet Sitter for
Emergencies:
Be available to step in as a pet sitter in case of emergencies or unexpected situations.
Ensure the safety and well-being of pets in your care.
Qualifications:
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Proficiency in using scheduling software and social media platforms.
Previous experience in pet sitting or a related field is a plus.
Must be comfortable working with various pet species and sizes.
