No Experience Needed. Available Positions
FACILITIES
Starting at $16/hour Mon-Fri 7am-3pm OR Wed-Sun 7am-3pm
Sign data collection to include setup and takedown of mobile signs
Park attendant and janitorial duties
FORESTRY
Starting at $16/hour Mon-Fri 7am-3pm
Mowing, trimming, edging, weeding
Tilling and maintaining landscape beds and paths
Miscellaneous outdoor maintenance
May assist other divisions during inclement weather Minimum Requirements
At least 18 years of age
Valid Wisconsin driver's license with a driving record that meets City standards:
No more than 2 moving violations in the last 18 months
No more than 3 moving violations in the last 36 months
No more than 1 chargeable accident in the last 18 months or 2 in the last 36 months
No more than 6 demerit points in the last 12 months
No OWI or reckless driving convictions in the past 5 years Physical Requirements Ability to perform manual labor for extended periods, including:
Operating mowing equipment
Continuous lifting up to 20 lbs.; occasional lifting up to 100 lbs. with assistance
Frequent walking, bending, kneeling, squatting, twisting, and entering/exiting vehicles
Working in outdoor conditions, including heat, cold, rain, dust, odors, noise, and traffic
