Logistics Rep II Pay Rate:

Location:
Anniston, AL Position Summary Provides critical support to the logistics function by preparing detailed documentation to establish the required range and depth of spares, tools, test equipment, and associated manuals for deployment and stocking. This role determines maintenance and repair materials required for field operations, updates maintenance records, manages equipment requisitions, tracks logistics materials for proper storage allocation, and evaluates configuration changes to ensure comprehensive life-cycle product support. Key Responsibilities Prepare logistics documentation to establish stocking requirements for spares, tools, test equipment, and technical manuals. Determine necessary maintenance and repair materials required for deployment; modify maintenance records and repair standards for complex equipment and components. Develop requisitions and maintain accurate records for equipment, components, repair parts, and technical publications. Track logistics materials and parts to ensure optimal allocation and organization within storage facilities. Review equipment configuration changes to evaluate their impact on logistics deployment and life-cycle support. Document physical conditions of equipment, components, and parts; identify and package required support documentation (drawings, technical manuals, maintenance requirement cards). Apply basic mathematical operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) to record, balance, and verify data accuracy. Collaborate regularly with managers, co-workers, and external stakeholders through effective written and oral communication.
Qualifications & Requirements Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Experience:
1-3 years of direct experience in the logistics field required. 2-4 years of direct experience in inventory management or related roles (e.g., entry-level warehouse, inventory tracking administrative roles, military experience as a Prescribed Load List Clerk or Maintenance Clerk) preferred.
Technical Skills:
Moderate to high proficiency in Microsoft Office (Certification preferred). Familiarity with inventory management software (ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, FEDLOG, or Haystack) and data analysis tools preferred.
Specialized Knowledge:
Familiarity with government/military equipment, Basic Issue Items (BII), and Equipment Fielding preferred. Competencies & Capabilities Attention to
Detail & Organization:
Critical for accurately tracking stock, identifying discrepancies, and prioritizing daily work schedules.
Problem-Solving & Reasoning:
Ability to resolve inventory discrepancies, optimize stock levels, and apply common sense in executing job duties.
Comprehension & Communication:
Capability to understand, remember, and apply oral/written instructions, and clearly express ideas in individual or group settings.
Physical & Environmental Demands Motion & Reach:
Periodic stationary positioning with movement across varied settings (including outdoors, overhead, ground level, or narrow spaces).
Strength:
Ability to move and position moderate to heavy objects vertically and horizontally.
Sensory Requirements:
Close visual acuity to operate machinery and read documentation; auditory ability to detect sounds/vibrations and communicate effectively in high-noise environments.
