Summary Our client is seeking a Logistics Assistant Site Manager to support daily transportation operations in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. This position will work closely with the Site Manager to oversee drivers and site-level staff, maintain a strong focus on safety and service, and help ensure smooth and efficient site operations. Responsibilities Support the Site Manager with daily transportation operations, performance monitoring, and issue resolution Help monitor key performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve service and operational efficiency Assist with recruiting, hiring, training, coaching, and mentoring drivers and site-level staff Monitor employee adherence to safety standards and company policies Inspect vehicles and equipment to ensure they remain in safe, reliable working condition and communicate maintenance needs to the Site Manager Coordinate with the Site Manager and vendors on equipment repairs and maintenance as needed Attend customer meetings with the Manager and help maintain strong customer relationships Help ensure employees consistently provide a high level of service and professionalism Foster a collaborative, accountable, and productive team environment Qualifications 2+ years of business experience, ideally within transportation, logistics, supply chain, or a related field Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred CDL preferred Experience working in a transportation or operational environment with a strong focus on safety Ability to recruit, train, coach, and develop employees Strong customer service and relationship-building skills Ability to identify operational issues and help implement practical solutions Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Willingness to work days, weekends, and be on call as needed #

SECON Pay:

$75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
