Job Description
We are seeking a Demand Planner who will be instrumental in optimizing inventory flow, ensuring products are precisely where they need to be, when they need to be there. Your strategic insights and data-driven decisions will maximize sales, mitigate risks, and contribute significantly to achieving ambitious financial targets, making a tangible impact on the company's success and consumer experience. What You'll Do Develop and implement seasonal flow plans and store-level allocation strategies, aligning with key consumer priorities and revenue drivers. Manage the precise load-in and replenishment of products at the style, color, and size level for all retail locations. Continuously monitor store performance, adjusting allocation units in-season based on performance variances against plans. Collaborate with cross-functional partners to identify and execute in-season inventory trade activities across channels to maximize full-price sales. Maintain optimal inventory levels and Weeks of Supply (WOS) across various consumer segments and channels. Provide critical insights to assortment planning teams regarding size curve opportunities during the pre-season order entry process. Ensure timely and accurate execution of product allocation in support of new store openings. Partner with merchandising and assortment planning teams to prioritize the allocation of essential and seasonal products across channels. Required Qualifications A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. Minimum of 2 years of directly relevant experience in allocation or demand planning. Demonstrated experience in retail field or store operations. Proficiency in data analysis, spreadsheet management, and advanced Excel skills. Proven ability to present complex information and recommendations concisely to diverse audiences. A deep understanding of how to leverage data for decision-making and effectively communicate business needs. Solid understanding of financial, product, and inventory planning principles. Strong comprehension of merchandise, consumer trends, and strategic retail planning. Solid knowledge of MS Windows applications. Preferred Qualifications An understanding of store operations, including how freight is received and processed. Familiarity with the Just Enough allocation system. Previous experience within the consumer goods or apparel industry.
