A growing manufacturing and distribution organization is seeking an experienced Logistics Specialist to support day-to-day supply chain and warehouse operations. This role is responsible for coordinating transportation activities, maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting order fulfillment, and helping ensure efficient movement of materials throughout the operation. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and focused on delivering exceptional service while driving operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Transportation & Logistics Coordination Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including scheduling deliveries and pickups with carriers and vendors. Monitor shipment status and proactively address transportation issues to minimize disruptions. Partner with internal teams and external providers to ensure timely and efficient movement of materials and finished goods. Order Fulfillment & Operational Support Support daily production, inventory, and shipping activities to meet customer requirements. Track order fulfillment performance and assist in resolving scheduling, inventory, or delivery challenges. Help ensure customer commitments and operational targets are consistently achieved. Inventory Management Maintain accurate inventory records and transaction data through company systems. Assist with inventory tracking, monitoring stock levels, and supporting supply and demand planning activities. Participate in inventory control initiatives to improve accuracy and operational efficiency. Warehouse & Facility Support Assist in maintaining a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment. Support proper care and maintenance of warehouse equipment and storage areas. Follow established procedures to ensure efficient workflow and material handling practices. Safety & Continuous Improvement Follow and promote all workplace safety policies and procedures. Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce waste, and increase operational effectiveness. Support initiatives focused on enhancing productivity, quality, and customer service. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 3-5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, supply chain, or a related field preferred. Ability to safely lift and move materials up to 50 pounds. Experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Reliable attendance and strong commitment to teamwork and safety. Pay:
