Position Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Program Analyst with strong experience in Defense logistics and supply management to support clients in improving operational performance, business processes, and organizational effectiveness. The Senior Program Analyst will leverage their knowledge of Defense logistics and supply operations to advise clients on process improvement, organizational change management, data analysis and visualization, systems management, and other strategic operations improvements. The ideal candidate combines practical experience in Defense supply and logistics with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities and the ability to translate complex operational data into actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders. This is a client-facing role requiring the ability to understand complex logistics and supply challenges, analyze data and business processes, develop practical solutions, and help organizations successfully implement change.
Responsibilities:
  • Advise Defense and government clients on supply, logistics, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and organizational performance.
  • Analyze existing business processes, policies, workflows, and organizational structures to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Drive process improvement and operational transformation initiatives, including documenting current-state and future-state processes.
  • Apply organizational change management principles to support adoption of new processes, systems, tools, and organizational practices.
  • Analyze operational and logistics data to identify trends, performance gaps, root causes, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using Microsoft Power BI to communicate complex information and enable data-driven decision-making.
  • Translate analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for clients and senior leadership.
  • Support the management and optimization of business and logistics systems, including requirements development, process integration, testing, implementation, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop presentations, briefing materials, analytical products, and other deliverables for government and executive-level stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams spanning logistics, supply management, contracting, operations, technology, and organizational leadership.
  • Monitor program performance and assist with developing metrics, performance indicators, and management reporting.
  • Apply knowledge of Defense logistics and supply policies, procedures, and practices to ensure recommended solutions are practical and aligned with mission requirements.
  • Support additional strategic initiatives and operational improvement efforts as required.
Required Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience in logistics and/or supply management supporting U.S. Department of Defense organizations or programs.
  • Experience with secondary repairables (Class IX equipment) within a Defense logistics or supply environment, supporting any military service.
  • Strong understanding of logistics and/or supply policies, processes, and operational practices within the Defense environment.
  • Ability to analyze complex operational problems, synthesize information from multiple sources, and develop practical, data-driven recommendations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and operate effectively in a client-facing environment.
  • Must be located in Albany, Georgia, or willing to travel approximately 10-25% based on client and program requirements. Desired Qualifications
  • U.S. Marine Corps-specific experience, particularly in logistics, supply, maintenance, or related operational functions.
  • Familiarity with Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (Navy ERP), GCSS-MC, ELMS WM, and/or other related Defense enterprise logistics / supply systems.
  • Experience supporting large-scale process improvement, organizational transformation, or change management initiatives.
  • Experience developing executive-level dashboards, briefings, and analytical products for government or Defense leadership.
  • Experience with data analysis, reporting, and data visualization, including demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Power BI.
  • Experience working directly with government clients or within a management consulting environment.
