Overview The Executive Director serves as the professional leader of the Mortgage Bankers Association of Louisville, responsible for implementing strategic and operational plans set by the Board of Directors. This role oversees daily operations, financial administration, communications, membership management, and event coordination while serving as a non-voting advisor to the Board. Responsibilities Manage day‑to‑day operations and execute strategic plans from the Board. Plan and coordinate meetings and events, including logistics and communications. Serve as liaison to the Board, providing meeting support, agendas, materials, and records. Produce monthly e‑newsletters and manage social media, website content, and event marketing. Process financial transactions, maintain QuickBooks records, and prepare monthly reports. Ensure compliance with nonprofit regulations, tax filings, and Secretary of State reporting. Maintain organizational records, membership information, bylaws, and governance documentation. Qualifications Experience in nonprofit administration, mortgage/real estate industry, or association management. Strong organizational, communication, and project‑management skills. Experience with QuickBooks and basic financial reporting. Comfort working independently and managing multiple priorities.
