About Us Mentoring and Partnership for Youth Development (MPYD) is a nonprofit oganization whose mission is to provide support and mentorship to young males attending John Muir High School by encouraging academic achievement, social skills development, family relations enhancement, and future education and employment resource referrals Overview The Program Coordinator plays a key role in the daily operations of MPYD. This position supports program delivery, maintains accurate documentation, and collaborates closely with staff, community partners, and John Muir High School staff and administration to ensure students receive high quality and timely services. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and passionate about youth development. Responsibilities Support the development and execution of program goals, objectives, and strategic initiatives. Collaborate with staff, community partners, John Muir High School staff and administration to strengthen program efficiency and impact. Coordinate with MPYD & John Muir High School staff to collect, organize, and maintain student data. Maintain accurate and confidential records, including demographics, assessments, progress notes etc. Provide student support to ensure timely completion of service plans, reports, and required documentation. Assist with scheduling, communication, and general program operations. Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall program success. Update and maintain a tracking system on student progress Maintain a safe and clean working environment Stay in constant contact with parents, teachers and administration on grades and student behavior Required Qualifications Available during daytime hours Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, youth focused environment Active listening skills and a collaborative mindset Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (Word, Excel, Docs etc.) Ability to work independently and as a part of a team Preferred Qualifications Associate degree or higher (pay will depend on education level) Valid driver's license Schedule Monday through Friday Weekends (if necessary)
Pay:
From $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
