BCBA Certified Program Director Milestones Behavioral & Treatment Program Santa Fe Springs, CA Full-time

Onsite Work Hours:

8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.

Pay:

$55,000-$120,000 About us We are an Adult Day Program providing daily behavioral services for adults with developmental disabilities in California. We deliver person-centered, behaviorally informed programming focused on skills development, community participation, and safety, in partnership with families and Regional Centers. The Role The Program Director owns day-to-day program operations and quality delivery during program hours. You will lead staff, maintain Regional Center and vendor readiness and standards under Title 17, and ensure every participant's ISP/IPP and behavior support plan is implemented on the floor—not only documented on paper. This is a hands-on leadership role: present during program hours, coaching in the moment, and accountable for outcomes. Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is preferred but not required. Experienced program leaders with strong backgrounds in adult intellectual and developmental disability (I/DD) services and behavior support are encouraged to apply.

What You Own Program operations:

Daily schedule, staffing coverage, and a calm, structured program day.

People leadership:

Recruit, train, schedule, coach, evaluate, and retain program staff Person-centered services: Oversee ISP/IPP implementation, goal tracking, and meaningful activity programming.

Behavior support:

Partner with clinical and BCBA consultants as needed; ensure behavior support plans are understood and followed; model safe, respectful crisis response.

Compliance and quality:

Maintain readiness for Regional Center reviews and vendor standards under Title 17 (rates, vendor codes, and RC POS).

Family and partner relations:

Serve as the primary program contact for families, service coordinators, and outside providers.

Continuous improvement:

Adjust programming as participant needs change and close quality gaps promptly. Operational support for packets, letters, insurance, and Regional Center mail sits with the operations team so you can focus on program quality and people. Must-Haves Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, special education, behavior analysis, or a related human-services field—or equivalent supervisory experience in human services At least two years supervising direct-support or program staff in adult day, residential, or similar I/DD or behavioral settings Experience implementing individualized service plans and behavior support strategies with adults with developmental disabilities Working knowledge of Regional Center-funded day services and Title 17 vendor / POS requirements Ability and willingness to work onsite in Santa Fe Springs during program hours (8:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m.) and to support staff during behavioral escalations Strong written and verbal communication with families, staff, and external partners Nice-to-Haves Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)—required Master's degree in ABA, psychology, special education, or a related field Prior Program Director experience in a California Regional Center day program Experience with budgets, large-team scheduling, and quality metrics Current CPI, Pro-ACT, or equivalent crisis training; bilingual Spanish Location, Schedule & Pay Onsite at Santa Fe Springs, CA.
