Program director House of Life - 5.0 Simi Valley, CA Job Details Full-time $5,000 - $7,000 a month 8 hours ago Qualifications Staff supervision Managing teams of therapists Team leadership Social service program staff supervision Substance abuse treatment center experience Experience working with individuals with substance use disorders Full Job Description We are seeking a highly organized and compassionate Program Director to oversee the daily clinical and administrative operations of our 24/7 medically monitored residential detox facility. In this role, you will be responsible for managing facility operations, coordinating staff schedules across all shifts, and supervising our dedicated team of counselors and support staff.

You will lead the admissions workflow to manage our patient census while maintaining a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment for individuals undergoing acute physical withdrawal. Crucially, you will ensure the highest standard of care by serving as the primary guardian of regulatory compliance and clinical documentation, keeping all operations strictly aligned with state and federal licensing standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesDaily Operations:
Oversee all programmatic and administrative operations of a 24/7 residential detox milieu.
Staff Leadership:
Recruit, hire, train, and supervise counseling and support staff, while managing multi-shift scheduling.
Patient Flow & Milieu:
Manage the patient census, coordinate the admissions workflow, and maintain a safe, therapeutic community environment.
Compliance & Documentation:
Ensure strict adherence to local, state, and federal healthcare licensing standards, oversight of patient charts, and management of insurance authorizations.
Qualifications Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a residential substance abuse or detox setting.
Education/Licensure:
Degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field preferred; active state clinical licensure (e.g., AMFT) or certified substance abuse counselor credential is highly desirable.
Skills:
Strong understanding of crisis intervention, detox protocols, regulatory compliance, and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Pay:
$5,000.00 - $7,000.00 per month
