Chief Operations Officer / Program Director Position Purpose Our External Relations Department is seeking a Program Lead I & II that provides direct leadership and instructional support at an educational institution and ensures students experience high-quality, engaging, structured out-of-school-time programming. Core Responsibilities Lead daily program implementation. Facilitate academic and enrichment activities. Support math, literacy, science, STEM, financial literacy, leadership, and career programming. Build positive relationships with students. Monitor attendance and participation. Implement project-based learning activities. Support student goal-setting. Assist with student assessments. Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment. Communicate student needs to site leadership. Support family engagement. Participate in staff training and quality-improvement activities. Program Skills Required High-school youth development. Project-based learning. STEM activities. Literacy across the curriculum. Applied mathematics. Financial literacy. Leadership development. Career exploration. Youth mentoring. Classroom/facilitation management. Social-emotional and wellness support. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree required. Master's Degree Preferred in education, youth development, social services, STEM, business, nonprofit management, or related field preferred. Experience working with high-school students or adolescents preferred. Experience in education, youth development, afterschool programming, STEM, mentoring, tutoring, or community programming preferred. Ability to successfully complete required background checks and youth-serving requirements. Ability to participate in required training. Ability to travel to one of the Michigan counties listed Must be able to lead both an after-school and a summer program Must be able to lead a group of 50-70 students Resumes should be sent to info@therenfrewgroup.com.
