Program Support Specialist Location:
Sikeston, MO (On-site only
- No Remote)
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM
- 5:00 PM (40 hours/week)
Salary Range:
Mid to High $30,000; low-administrative 40s; negotiable based on education and experience Position Summary Provides administrative, receptionist, scheduling, and general office support. Serves as a primary contact for clients, visitors, community partners, and helps create a welcoming, professional, and organized office environment. Assists staff with documentation, correspondence, data entry, meeting coordination, supply management, and other activities that support the organization's programs and services. Candidates selected for an interview must be prepared to demonstrate skills and experience. Key Responsibilities
- Answer, screen, and route incoming telephone calls.
- Assist program staff with client files, referral documents, outreach materials, and program-related paperwork.
- Assist with transportation and program scheduling.
- Assist with recruitment activities and program events.
- Assist with Virtual Meeting Platforms, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Google
- Assist with client incentive inventory distribution.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA standards.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality. Preferred Experience/Skills and Abilities
- 2-3 years of progressively responsible administrative experience, preferably in a nonprofit, healthcare, public health, or human services organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams).
- Experience with grants or federally funded programs is not required but is a plus.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Experience in development of flyers is a plus.
- Ability to learn and use organizational databases, electronic forms, and other support systems.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Education Requirements Associate's degree in business administration, Graduation from a Business School, Public Administration, office management, or some college. Proven extensive experience may substitute for education requirements. How to Apply
