Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Construction Project Development Manager to lead the planning, development, and execution of capital improvement projects. Duties Lead the development and planning of construction projects by coordinating with stakeholders, engineers, architects, and clients to establish project scope and objectives. Manage project schedules using advanced project management software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project to ensure timely delivery. Oversee cost estimation, budgeting, and financial management utilizing tools like HeavyBid and construction estimating software to maintain fiscal responsibility. Supervise construction site activities, ensuring adherence to safety standards, construction regulations, and quality control protocols. Coordinate construction schedules with contractors and internal teams to optimize workflow and resource allocation. Review and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings including Civil 3D files for accurate project execution. Manage contracts, change orders, and procurement processes while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Lead project teams by providing clear direction, fostering collaboration, and managing performance to meet project milestones. Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Prolog, or equivalent tools for documentation, reporting, and communication purposes. Ensure all projects comply with local building codes, safety standards, environmental regulations, and industry best practices. Experience Proven experience managing large-scale infrastructure or commercial construction projects from inception through completion. Extensive knowledge of construction scheduling techniques using Primavera P6 or similar project scheduling tools. Strong background in construction estimating, cost management, and budget control practices. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Familiarity with heavy civil construction processes including site development, earthworks, utilities installation, and schematics interpretation. Hands-on experience with construction regulatory compliance and contract administration. Proficiency in managing multiple projects simultaneously with excellent time management skills. Well-versed in the use of construction site management software such as Bluebeam for document review and collaboration.
