full-time Position Description The Hospital Association of Rhode Island (HARI) is seeking a Project Coordinator to provide administrative, financial, and project coordination support for grant-funded programs and healthcare transformation initiatives, including HARI's Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP). Working under the direction of the RHTP Project Director and in collaboration with HARI leadership, the Project Coordinator will support the day-to-day administration of project activities by maintaining project tracking systems, coordinating meetings and follow-up activities, processing and tracking reimbursement documentation, maintaining grant and compliance records, and compiling information required for program and financial reporting. The Project Coordinator will work with participating hospitals, government agencies, vendors, consultants, and community partners to facilitate routine communications, collect required information and documentation, and ensure that project activities and outstanding items are appropriately tracked and elevated to the Project Director as needed. The position will also work closely with HARI's Director of Administration/Finance to support expenditure tracking, reconciliation, reimbursement processes, and accurate financial documentation. Please note that this position is grant-funded and is contingent upon the renewal of funding. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, public health, business, finance, or a related field. Equivalent related experience will be considered. Experience in project coordination, grant administration, healthcare administration, and/or finance. Familiarity with grant documentation, reporting and compliance requirements, particularly Federal grants, strongly preferred. Experience reviewing and tracking budgets, expenditures, invoices, reimbursement requests and financial documentation. Prior experience working with healthcare organizations, hospitals, government agencies or nonprofit organizations. Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities. Ability to analyze information, identify outstanding issues, and escalate matters requiring management attention. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
