Description We are looking for a dependable and service-oriented Part-Time Property Manager to help oversee daily operations for a residential community in California. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who can balance resident support, property upkeep, and administrative coordination in a fast-paced environment. The right candidate brings strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and a commitment to maintaining a well-run and welcoming property.
Responsibilities:
Serve as a primary point of contact for residents, addressing questions, concerns, and community-related communication in a thoughtful and attentive manner.
Coordinate maintenance service requests from intake through completion, ensuring timely follow-up and clear communication with residents and service teams.
Perform routine inspections of the property to identify repair needs, cleanliness issues, and potential safety concerns, then help drive corrective action.
Support leasing administration by assisting with renewals, move-in and move-out processes, application records, and resident documentation.
Maintain organized property files and update operational records to support accurate reporting and compliance needs.
Work with vendors and contractors to schedule services, monitor performance, and help ensure property needs are completed efficiently.
Assist with invoice tracking, service documentation, and basic agreement coordination related to outside vendors.
Help monitor rent-related records and respond to resident account questions while providing general administrative support as needed. Requirements
At least 2 years of experience in property management, property administration, leasing, resident services, or a related support role.
Background supporting residential or multifamily properties is strongly preferred.
Working knowledge of resident relations, maintenance coordination, and lease documentation processes.
Experience using property management platforms such as Yardi, AppFolio, RentCafe, Buildium, or similar software.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities effectively.
Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
