The Assistant Director of Retreat Programs will work closely with the Retreats Program Director and other members of the Little Pink team to ensure that retreat programs are mission-centered, consistently delivered, financially responsible, continuously improving, and supported by exceptional volunteer leaders. Ability to work independently while thriving within a highly collaborative, feedback-oriented team environment.
Willingness and ability to travel for retreats, site visits, training events, and other program needs, including occasional evenings and weekends. Preferred Experience

Budget creation, monitoring, and financial analysis.
Working with families, patients, caregivers, or mission-driven constituent groups.
Using data to evaluate programs and improve decision-making.
Using AI, automation, databases, or other technology to improve organizational efficiency.
You May Be a Great Fit If... You enjoy developing people more than simply directing them. You notice when a process is not working and naturally begin thinking about how it could work better. You can look at a retreat schedule and see both the logistical details and the experience a family will have because of those decisions. You respect a budget and understand that creativity and financial discipline can coexist. You are comfortable developing external relationships and asking partners to invest their properties, resources, or services in Little Pink's mission. You think proactively about future needs rather than waiting until a housing shortage becomes an urgent problem. You can lead a room, coach an individual, analyze a spreadsheet, navigate a difficult conversation, and learn a new technology without believing any of those responsibilities are "someone else's job." You are comfortable asking questions, receiving feedback, changing your mind when the data tells you something different, and helping other people grow. We value people who are curious, accountable, resourceful, comfortable receiving feedback, and willing to respectfully challenge the status quo when there is a better way to serve our families and advance our mission. What Success Looks Like
Leaders feel prepared, supported, challenged, and equipped to succeed.
Volunteers are thoughtfully recruited and placed in roles where they can thrive.
Retreat experiences remain consistently excellent and centered on the needs of participating families.
Program decisions reflect both mission impact and responsible financial stewardship.
Problems are identified early and addressed thoughtfully.
Feedback leads to improvement rather than defensiveness.
Data informs decisions and technology increases capacity rather than adding complexity.
Retreat systems become stronger, more consistent, and more scalable as Little Pink grows.
Each retreat market has an appropriate, reliable, and sustainable portfolio of housing for participating families.
Property partners, preferred vendors, and private donors are thoughtfully cultivated and stewarded.
Potential housing gaps are identified early and addressed proactively.
Property acquisition decisions balance family needs, retreat quality, operational feasibility, and responsible financial stewardship.
Little Pink's property portfolio grows strategically as the organization and Retreats Program expand.
