Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30

PM Overtime:

Possible as needed

Montebello, CA Permanent Location:

Ontario, CA once the company completes its relocation Primary Responsibilities Support the Purchasing Manager with daily purchasing activities Create and maintain purchase orders Obtain and compare vendor quotes Maintain purchasing records within the ERP system Track orders and expected delivery dates Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, and order status Assist with invoice and purchase-order discrepancies Monitor inventory levels and purchasing needs Preferred Experience Previous purchasing, procurement, buyer assistant, or purchasing coordinator experience Experience purchasing steel, plastics, hardware, fasteners, or similar manufacturing materials Vendor communication and quote comparison ERP/data-entry experience Pricing or cost-comparison experience is a plus Strong organization and follow-up skills
