Overview:

We are seeking an organized Production Coordinator to support daily food manufacturing operations. This role works closely with shift leadership to coordinate line workflows, track production metrics, manage documentation, and assist with staffing and associate training. The ideal candidate ensures production schedules are met safely, efficiently, and in strict compliance with GMP and food safety standards.

Skills and Experience:

Key Responsibilities Operations & Scheduling:

Coordinate daily manufacturing workflows, run rates, changeovers, and line priorities to meet production targets.

Reporting & Documentation:

Maintain accurate production records, track labor utilization, analyze yield/efficiency data, and complete operational reports on time.

Workforce Support:

Assist with team coordination, shift staffing, and training production associates on standard operating procedures.

Safety & Quality:

Ensure full compliance with plant safety, GMP, and food safety standards while helping resolve operational line issues.

Requirements & Qualifications Experience:

Previous manufacturing or food production experience required (lead, coordinator, or supervisory experience preferred).

Skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Office/data entry, basic math, strong organization, and written/verbal communication.

Systems:

Familiarity with production software, ERP systems, continuous improvement, or Lean/TPM principles is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand/walk for full shifts, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in hot, cold, or noisy plant environments.

General:

Must be 18+ with flexibility to work varied shifts as business needs require.
