Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:00 PM Extended hours: Must be available to work until 5:00 PM when required

Oak Forest, IL. We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Receiving Lead to oversee daily receiving operations and support warehouse efficiency. This role will lead the receiving team, ensure inventory is received accurately, investigate discrepancies, and help maintain a safe, organized warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities
- Determine daily forklift-driver requirements and enter GL labor allocations into the system.
- Lead the team during inbound shipments to ensure materials are unloaded safely and efficiently.
- Ensure received materials are accurately counted, tagged, moved from receiving, and assigned to the correct warehouse location.
- Track container arrivals and document any discrepancies.
- Verify and validate inventory counts when shortages or discrepancies are identified.
- Provide daily updates on delayed materials and communicate issues with Production Control and Supply Chain teams.
- Support both Shipping and Receiving operations based on business needs.
- Cover employee lunches and assist with end-of-day operational activities.
- Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and efficient warehouse environment.
- Ensure all receiving processes are completed accurately and on time. SKU & Quantity Verification
- Verify incoming materials against receiving documentation, including SKU numbers and quantities at the pallet, case, and unit levels.
- Verify lot numbers, batch numbers, expiration dates, and serial numbers based on product and customer requirements.
- Document and communicate discrepancies before completing the receiving process.
- Coordinate with forklift drivers to break down and verify mixed pallets when necessary. Quality Inspection
- Visually inspect incoming materials for damage, leakage, and packaging integrity.
- Verify materials meet applicable labeling, safety, allergen-control, and hazardous-material handling requirements.
- Escalate damaged, nonconforming, or questionable materials to the Quality team and follow established hold procedures.
- For temperature-sensitive or perishable products, ensure temperature logs are completed, expiration dates are validated, and materials are promptly placed into designated temperature-controlled storage. Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, receiving, inventory-control, or leadership experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies.
- Experience working with warehouse management systems and inventory controls.
- Ability to prioritize daily workloads and lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain a professional, dependable, and safety-focused work ethic.
