The Opportunity Williams International has an exciting opportunity for a Shipping & Receiving Specialist to join our team. The Shipping & Receiving Specialist will: Prepare and package sub-assemblies or finished engines to ship to customers, vendors or other corporate locations, both nationally and internationally. Responsible for receiving and signing in incoming freight and parcel as well as packaging and shipping outgoing materials. Responsible for monitoring shipping and packaging supplies and is required to drive the company vehicle for pickups and deliveries. Hardware picking or other warehousing jobs as required Qualifications High School diploma or GED is required 1+ years prior related work experience in Inventory and/or warehousing preferred Knowledge of shipping instructions for commercial packages Must be able to obtain an explosive handling permit and a certification for shipping dangerous goods Must have or be able to obtain a Hi-lo License and use a pallet jack Must have a valid drivers license and be able to pass a DOT medical exam to drive a commercial vehicle Must be self-motivated and take initiative Must have basic computer skills and be familiar with Microsoft Windows and Office, including Excel SAP experience is preferred Physical lifting requirements include; ability to lift 50 pounds (4 inches to 25 inches), capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 pounds, a grip strength of at least 50 pounds, and be able to reach above the shoulder (65 inches above floor level, minimum) U.S. citizenship is required Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed. Candidates selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
