Responsibilities:

Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders (POs) or delivery manifests, check for damaged goods, missing items or incorrect quantities, and report discrepancies to team lead. Ensure product goes to the correct location and is labeled properly, update inventory system to reflect received quantities, follow FIFO (First in, First out) rotation when applicable, and consolidate like item when able. Safely load/unload truck using forklifts, pallet jacks, or by hand and ensure materials are handled properly to prevent damage. Troubleshoot and overcome shipping and receiving issues and customer complaints that arise, and work together with team to solve them. Pick items accurately from storage locations according to packing list or sales orders and inspect items for quality and accuracy before packing. Prepare product for shipment upon completion of final inspection, ensuring products are labeled and palletized (if applicable) appropriately for customer delivery. Use appropriate packing materials to protect items during transit and label boxes clearly with shipment details and destination. Schedule pickups with carriers (UPS, FedEx, freight companies), verify carrier documentation and ensure shipments are released properly. Understand international shipments and document creation related to importing and exporting goods. Experience requirements 1-3 years of shipping & receiving experience Basic computer and data entry skills, (ERP or inventory systems) Operating forklifts within manufacturing environment required, forklift certified a plus Educational requirements High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred Additional requirements Must have reliable transportation Must be able to lift up to 50 ponds multiple times per day NVE is a US manufacturer of tanker truck equipment for the liquid waste, oil and gas mining and hydro excavation industries.
