Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM | On-Site — Canton, NC Reports to:
Operations Coordinator Pay:
$22-$24 / hour About the Role We're hiring a B2B Fulfillment Specialist to help get wholesale orders picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time at our North Carolina manufacturing facility. You'll work hands-on with finished goods — vapes, concentrates, flower, and edibles — using Katana, Shopify, ShipStation, and Asana to move daily orders. Wholesale is different from consumer fulfillment: orders are larger, run on purchase orders and account-specific requirements, ship by parcel and freight, and carry compliance obligations that change at the state line. A mistake here doesn't affect one customer — it affects an account. What You'll Do Pick, scan, verify, and pack wholesale orders accurately — case and pallet quantities, multi-line POs, account-specific packing requirements QC each order for correct SKUs, counts, batch/lot information, and compliance labeling before it ships Confirm ship-to eligibility against state restrictions before releasing an order Use Katana, Shopify, and ShipStation to confirm inventory and update order status Tag, label, and stage outbound shipments by carrier (UPS, USPS, FedEx, LTL freight) Flag short, missing, or backordered items clearly and early to your supervisor Investigate count and system discrepancies before adjusting anything, and escalate what you can't resolve Follow all department SOPs, quality-control, and inventory procedures Help maintain the fulfillment Asana board to track task progress Keep fulfillment workstations and staging areas organized and audit-ready Systems & Technology Daily systems: Katana (inventory), Shopify and ShipStation (order management), Asana (tasks), Slack, Google Sheets, and macOS — plus barcode scanners, thermal and label printers, and digital scales. Experience with these specific platforms is a plus, not a requirement. Strong technical aptitude and the ability to learn new systems quickly are required. What We're Looking For Strong attention to detail and accuracy under pressure Fast, consistent execution A process-oriented mindset — you follow the SOP even when a shortcut is available Willingness to investigate a problem rather than pass it along Clear communication and good time management Ability to work independently after training Qualifications Must be 21 years of age or older and eligible to work in the U.S. 1+ year in warehouse, fulfillment, inventory, or logistics environments Able to lift up to 40 lbs and stay on your feet for extended periods Able to commute daily to our Canton, NC facility
Preferred:
B2B or wholesale fulfillment experience, Katana or comparable WMS/MRP, ShipStation, Shopify, freight/LTL, quality or inventory control. Work Environment & Physical Demands Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 40 lbs throughout the shift Repetitive picking, packing, and scanning Handling packaging materials, label printers, and barcode scanners by hand Close vision and attention to detail for product QC and labeling Moderate noise level; warehouse safety protocols followed at all times Closed-toe shoes and required PPE at all times on the floor Benefits Health insurance (Bronze, Silver, and Gold PPO options) 401(k) Paid time off and paid sick time Six paid holidays Employee product discount Why This Role Matters You're the last stop before product reaches a wholesale partner. What you pick, how it's labeled, what documentation goes with it, and where it's allowed to ship is what keeps accounts — and keeps us compliant. We hire, train, and build champions. We're generous, but not naive. The Hemp Collect / IHC Investments, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, marital status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
