A Shipping or Receiving Clerk tracks all incoming and/or outgoing shipments at a company facility and checks that shipment orders are filled correctly. Uses scanning equipment to track inventory. Works in receiving to check shipments that are primarily production materials or company supplies, or checks outgoing shipments of finished products.
The Fulfillment Specialist is key to getting wholesale and direct-to-consumer orders picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time. Based at our North Carolina facility, you'll work hands-on with finished goods — vapes, concentrates, flower, and edibles — using Katana, Shopify, ShipStation, and Asana to manage daily orders. You'll keep fulfillment running smoothly with strong attention to detail, fast execution, and a real commitment to quality. You report to the Fulfillment Supervisor (NC), with cross-functional coordination across the Fulfillment Manager, Coordinator, and Ops Manager.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently, following all department SOPs QC each order for correct products, counts, and compliance labels Use Katana and Shopify/ShipStation to confirm inventory and update order status Tag, label, and stage outgoing shipments by carrier (UPS, USPS, etc.) Flag missing or backordered items clearly to the Fulfillment Supervisor Help maintain the fulfillment Asana board to track task progress Keep fulfillment workstations and staging areas organized
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
1+ year in warehouse, fulfillment, or inventory environments Familiarity with e-commerce or B2B fulfillment workflows (preferred) Strong attention to detail and accuracy under pressure Experience with Katana, ShipStation, Shopify, or similar systems is a plus Able to lift up to 40 lbs and stay on your feet for extended periods Excellent communication and time management Must be 21+ and eligible to work in the U.S. Able to commute daily to our North Carolina facility
Frequently stand, walk, bend, and lift (up to 40+ lbs) throughout the shift Handle packaging materials, label printers, and barcode scanners by hand Close vision and attention to detail for product QC and labeling Moderate noise level; warehouse safety protocols followed at all times
