Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Receiving and Inventory Clerk to join our team. This position is responsible for managing incoming shipments, verifying contents, and organizing products in the warehouse.
Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, packing slip or other records.
Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with Quality Control and Purchasing to rectify damages and shortages.
Routes items to the appropriate person/tags parts with proper identification per ISO Standards.
Examines incoming shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.
Maintains inventory of shipping and receiving materials and supplies.
Uses hand-truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area.
Operates forklift to move material and unload incoming shipments.
Operates crane to move material and unload incoming shipments.
Maintains a clean, neat and member-ready area.
Promptly unloads trucks and deliveries.
Sends P.O.s to specified vendors.
Work directly with suppliers on any and all P.
O.'s regarding on time delivery, shipment issues, shortages, etc. -Other duties as assigned.
