Primary Operations:

Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Receiving and Inventory Clerk to join our team. This position is responsible for managing incoming shipments, verifying contents, and organizing products in the warehouse.
- Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, packing slip or other records.
- Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with Quality Control and Purchasing to rectify damages and shortages.
- Routes items to the appropriate person/tags parts with proper identification per ISO Standards.
- Examines incoming shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.
- Maintains inventory of shipping and receiving materials and supplies.
- Uses hand-truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area.
- Operates forklift to move material and unload incoming shipments.
- Operates crane to move material and unload incoming shipments.
- Maintains a clean, neat and member-ready area.
- Promptly unloads trucks and deliveries.
- Sends P.O.s to specified vendors.
- Work directly with suppliers on any and all P.
O.'s regarding on time delivery, shipment issues, shortages, etc. -Other duties as assigned.
