Distribution Assistant Manager - Help Run Our Supply Chain | Menehune Water Company Aiea, HI | Full-Time Keep Hawaii's favorite water moving — efficiently, on time, every time. Menehune Water Company is looking for a sharp, hands-on Distribution Assistant Manager to help lead our distribution operations. If you know how to run a warehouse floor, keep a fleet moving, and turn process improvements into real results, this role puts you right in the middle of the action. You'll work alongside our Distribution team to keep shipping, receiving, inventory, and delivery running like a well-oiled machine — while helping build a culture that's always looking for a better way to do things. What You'll Do Lead and supervise daily distribution operations — shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, and warehouse activities Manage transportation planning and fleet coordination to hit delivery windows while controlling costs Oversee inventory accuracy and warehouse management systems (WMS) to keep stock levels tight and processes efficient Coordinate with 3PL and freight partners for smooth, cost-effective shipping Drive process improvements using Lean and continuous improvement principles Help monitor budgets and P&L to control costs and support profitability Use ERP systems (AS400 experience a plus) for procurement, purchasing, and operations reporting What You Bring Solid experience in warehouse supervision, distribution, or logistics management Understanding of transportation management, demand planning, and supply chain analytics Proven experience leading and communicating with a team Comfortable with Microsoft Office and ERP systems (AS400 a plus) Strong grasp of inventory control, freight management, and shipping/receiving procedures Familiarity with Lean and continuous improvement methods Hands-on experience with forklift operation, dispatching, and materials management Working knowledge of WMS and logistics optimization Why Menehune Water 401(k) with company match Medical, dental (partial), vision, and drug insurance Paid sick and vacation leave Employee discounts on Menehune Water products Real ownership over process improvement — your ideas actually move the needle here Menehune Water Company is an equal opportunity employer committed to an inclusive workplace, in compliance with all applicable federal and Hawaii state laws.
