Job Overview:

URGENT HIRING

Pharmacy seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting prescriptions in a safe, timely manner to the patient's home/facilities.

Operating hours:

M-F 9am-7pm, Sat 9a-2p, Sun Closed Delivery position is M-F 9a

PAY DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE AND JOB PERFORMANCE

Duties:

• Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport prescriptions to various locations.
• Working a cash register to ring up prescriptions.
• Handling payments from patients for medications.
• Help answer phones in pharmacy if needed.
• Ensure accurate and timely deliveries to customers
• Maintain delivery records and obtain necessary signatures.
• Maintain safe driving record.
• Operate delivery app that is required to download and use while delivering.

Experience:

• Experience preferred but not required will train.
• Ability to operate different types of delivery vehicles efficiently
• Strong knowledge of safe driving practices and traffic laws
• Basic computer knowledge
• Friendly and pleasant attitude with the public
• Problem solver

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet delivery deadlines
• Able to work until close if needed
• Ability to be on feet for periods of time.
• Able to go up and down stairs and in and out of vehicle at stop.
