Job Description
Job Overview:
URGENT HIRING
Pharmacy seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting prescriptions in a safe, timely manner to the patient's home/facilities.Operating hours:
M-F 9am-7pm, Sat 9a-2p, Sun Closed Delivery position is M-F 9a- 5:30p
PAY DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE AND JOB PERFORMANCE
Duties:
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport prescriptions to various locations.
- Working a cash register to ring up prescriptions.
- Handling payments from patients for medications.
- Help answer phones in pharmacy if needed.
- Ensure accurate and timely deliveries to customers
- Maintain delivery records and obtain necessary signatures.
- Maintain safe driving record.
- Operate delivery app that is required to download and use while delivering.
Experience:
- Experience preferred but not required will train.
- Ability to operate different types of delivery vehicles efficiently
- Strong knowledge of safe driving practices and traffic laws
- Basic computer knowledge
- Friendly and pleasant attitude with the public
- Problem solver
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet delivery deadlines
- Able to work until close if needed
- Ability to be on feet for periods of time.
- Able to go up and down stairs and in and out of vehicle at stop.
Benefits:
- Pay based on experience
- After 1 year of employment receive 1 week paid vacation.
- No medical benefits.
