Job Description

We're Looking for a Dependable, Detail-Driven Professional! Are you highly organized, dependable, and the type of person who notices when something doesn't add up? We are looking for a Mill Office Assistant who can take ownership of important inventory, receiving, shipping, and office responsibilities within a fast-paced mill and warehouse operation. This is an important position where accuracy, organization, and dependability matter every day.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage and maintain mill and warehouse inventory
  • Process incoming product receipts and receivers
  • Process shipments and related documentation
  • Develop, update, and publish Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Maintain accurate inventory, receiving, and shipment records
  • Identify and help resolve inventory discrepancies
  • Assist with general mill and warehouse office administration
  • Keep records organized, accurate, and up to date
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Minimum of two years of continuous employment with a previous employer
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
  • Must be dependable and able to show up consistently, on time, every day
  • Comfortable working with detailed inventory information, paperwork, and computer records
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience with:
  • Inventory management
  • Receiving and receivership processing
  • Shipping documentation
  • Warehouse or mill operations
  • Inventory control systems
WORK SCHEDULE
Monday through Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM No nights. No weekends.
COMPENSATION
Wages are dependent upon experience. If you are dependable, organized, comfortable with Excel, and take pride in getting the details right, we want to hear from you.
