09/21/2026 The City of Lexington is seeking a Gas Crew Leader to join our team of utility professionals. The Crew Leader performs difficult skilled work in planning, coordinating, supervising, and participating in the installation, maintenance, and repair of utility N atural Gas distribution facilities. Minimum Qualifications Graduation from high school or GED Six years of experience in the construction, maintenance, and operations of a natural gas facility Six months of supervisory experience Valid NC Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) or valid out-of-state Class A CDL with the ability to transfer to NC Class A CDL within sixty days of employment and good driving record Gas Line Fusion Certification Completion of Natural Gas Career Development Program or the Natural Gas Operator Qualification Plan Work Schedule Monday
