- 6:30 AM Position Summary Under direct supervision, this role is responsible for the receipt and storage of incoming materials and supplies.
The position ensures all receiving and internal movement transactions are accurately entered into the organization's ERP system, following standard operating procedures and compliance with applicable FDA and cGMP regulations. The role also involves managing warehouse workflow to meet operational demand at a regulated manufacturing site. During plant startup, the work hours will align with core business hours, with shift schedules subject to change based on business needs. Key Responsibilities Perform all receiving-related transactions within the ERP system (SAP) accurately. Coordinate the receipt of raw materials and supplies with designated carriers. Operate forklifts, manual pallet jacks, and powered pallet jacks safely and efficiently. Operate organizational vehicles such as box trucks between facilities. Complete all required quality management system (QMS) training prior to performing tasks. Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant warehouse environment. Follow all safety procedures, reporting hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately. Support workflow execution to ensure warehouse operations meet demand. Perform additional duties as assigned, contributing to overall warehouse efficiency. Required Qualifications High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent education/experience. 2-4 years of experience working in a warehouse environment. Prior forklift experience with the ability to obtain necessary certifications. Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a DOT medical card. Proficiency in English for communication and documentation. Preferred Qualifications Basic computer skills, including a working knowledge of ERP systems, with the ability to learn warehouse management modules. Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks effectively, and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and communication skills with keen attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting loads up to 50 lbs and operating power equipment safely. Familiarity with ergonomic lifting techniques.
